This is about a two hour effort from yesterday evening. Flowers are the hardest thing to paint (at least for me). However, I am bound and determined to teach myself how to do it. My problem is the subtle shifts in tone and color. I think this one is better than my last, yet I have a long way to go. On a different note, sorry it has been a while since my last post. I have been busy and work and most of my painting time has been dedicated to a larger painting, which is taking me longer than expected.
